Robbery in Lincoln Park

Over the last summer an unexpected problem began occurring right on DePaul University’s campus. Robberies suddenly began happening throughout Lincoln Park. The small tranquil part of Chicago became a dangerous place to walk alone.


Four of the robberies are all believed to be connected. In each case a male in his mid 20s was walking alone and robbed. Police are still unsure whether or not all of the robberies are connected. At least four men are believed to be behind the strong arm robberies occurring throughout Lincoln Park but no one has yet to apprehend the criminals all of whom are also thought to be in their mid 20’s.

Of all of the victims in the robberies two were brutally beaten to the point that they needed to be hospitalized.
