What the FLYP is That!

Media is continuously changing, and people constantly need to be informed on what is going on in the world. An online website called FLYP Media is connecting people from all over the world together. The goal is to inform the public on what media within the United States.

FLYP allows people to discuss anything ranging from movies to Barack Obama. Each person who joins the online community is able to view and submit their own blogs, podcasts, listen to music and many more exciting features. With websites like FLYP some may ask, where is journalism going?

The answer is journalism is just evolving with the technology that distributes it. FLYP Media is one of the largest online media databases in the world. Unlike a regular magazine that one person could buy at a store, FLYP has an almost endless supply of different kind of news and media for everyone to enjoy that is continuously getting updated. Rather than hearing just one side of an argument, viewers are able to find both sides to any disagreement giving them the best chance to receive their information.

Having a large database is an advantage for people looking for information, and the quality of the information received. Competition is extremely high for anyone who writes and or produces podcasts on FLYP. This motivates those people (journalists) to create the finest piece of media so they’re the best option for their targeted audience.

With the success and large user base that FLYP Media is accumulating it seems that this could be the future for many other magazines. Even though the internet seems like it has been around for a long time websites like Twitter, Facebook and FLYP Media are only the beginning of how media has, and will change.
